The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is a dedicated body in the higher education system that aims to achieve excellence in the academic and administrative fields. It aims to develop a system that undertakes a conscious, consistent, and catalytic role in institutional functioning, fostering an environment that promotes the development of best practices in the areas of teaching-learning, research, and governance. It also aims to help in documentation, accreditation, and the application of quality parameters.

Message from Chairperson, IQAC

It is my great pleasure to express my warm greetings to all the stakeholders of the institution. The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the institution is committed to developing a quality culture in all the academic and administrative activities of the institution. Our vision is to improve the quality of teaching-learning, research, innovation, and transparency and accountability in all the activities of the institution.

With the joint efforts of all the stakeholders, IQAC aims to maintain the quality standards and achieve excellence in the field of education. I would like to appreciate the efforts of all the faculty members, students, and staff of the institution who have been actively participating in the quality initiatives and contributing to the overall growth of the institution.

Objectives of IQAC

To develop and implement quality benchmarks in academic and administrative areas of activity.
To foster a quality culture in teaching-learning and evaluation processes.
To ensure efficient and progressive academic and administrative activity.
To help create a learner-friendly environment that fosters knowledge enhancement and skill development.
To foster research, innovation, and extension activities within the institution.
To organize workshops and seminars on quality issues and faculty/staff development.
To strengthen documentation and data management and prepare for accreditation and ranking processes.
To collect and analyze feedback from various stakeholders for quality enhancement.
To foster best practices in governance, transparency and accountability.
To coordinate with departments to implement institutional policies and quality initiatives effectively.

Functions of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

Development of Quality Parameters: Formulates and applies quality benchmarks for academic and administrative activities.
Monitoring Academic Processes: Ensures effective implementation of teaching–learning, evaluation, and research activities.
Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintains systematic documentation of academic and administrative performance for accreditation and ranking purposes.
Feedback Collection and Analysis: Gathers feedback from students, faculty, alumni, and other stakeholders and initiates corrective measures.
Promotion of Best Practices: Identifies, promotes, and institutionalizes innovative and best practices.
Faculty Development Initiatives: Organizes seminars, workshops, FDPs, and training programs for quality enhancement.
Preparation for Accreditation: Coordinates activities related to NAAC/NBA accreditation and other quality assurance processes.
Internal Academic and Administrative Audits: Conducts periodic audits to ensure compliance with institutional quality standards.
Quality Reports Submission: Prepares and submits Annual Quality Assurance Reports (AQAR) and other required documents.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Recommends and implements strategies for sustained institutional growth and excellence.
