Terms & Conditions for Scholarship

  • Scholarships at Saraswati College of Pharmacy are awarded to recognize and encourage academic merit and overall excellence among students. The following terms and conditions shall apply:

Academic Criteria

  • Scholarships will be awarded based on the aggregate percentage of marks obtained in the Class XII qualifying examination.
  • In case results are presented in CGPA format, conversion will be done as per the norms of CBSE/ICSE/recognized National Boards.
  • If the official conversion formula is not mentioned on the mark sheet, the following equivalence Criteria shall apply:

Adjustment with Other Scholarships

  • If a student is receiving financial assistance or scholarship support from a Government body, NGO, or any other external agency, the scholarship granted by Saraswati College of Pharmacy shall be limited to the difference between the external scholarship amount and the scholarship amount offered by the College.
    This decision shall be made at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee.

General Conditions

  1. Scholarships are granted on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to:
    • Availability of seats in the selected course
    • Verification and authentication of required documents
  1. Scholarships may be offered under various categories, including but not limited to:
    • Merit in Qualifying Examination
    • Performance in Group Discussion (GD) / Personal Interview (PI)
    • State Domicile criteria
    • Excellence in Sports, Cultural Activities, Research & Development, Co-curricular activities and Social Service
  1. A student may avail scholarship under only one category.
  2. Scholarships must be claimed at the time of application/admission and are subject to seat availability.
    Requests for change or application under a different category at a later stage will not be entertained.
  3. Scholarships under Co-curricular, Sports, Cultural, or Social Service categories will be considered only if the achievement is from a recognized competition/event meeting the guidelines approved by the concerned authorities, as specified by the College.

Document Verification

  • Students applying under any scholarship category must upload all relevant documents, certificates, and proof on the admission portal after receiving login credentials.

Scholarship approval is subject to verification and authentication by the College.
