Eligibility & Fee Details
Eligibility
First Year B. Pharm
- Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination conducted by a recognized State/Central Government authority.
- 10+2 qualification must be recognized as equivalent by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
- English must be one of the subjects.
Candidate should have studied:
- Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects, and
- Mathematics and/or Biology (PCM / PCB / PCMB) as optional subjects.
- Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) as equivalent is also acceptable.
B. Pharm – Lateral Entry (Direct Admission to 3rd Semester)
- Candidate must have passed D. Pharm.
- D. Pharm qualification should be from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act

- Transportation is available for students of Saraswati College of Pharmacy and nearby areas. Transport charges are applicable based on the distance and route, as prescribed by the college authorities.
- Hostel accommodation is available for students on a limited basis. Hostel charges are applicable as per the type of accommodation and facilities provided. Allotment of hostel rooms is subject to availability and college norms.

Admission Procedure
- Eligibility Verification
Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed by IK Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU) and the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) for the respective programme. - Application Submission
Eligible candidates must apply through the University-approved admission process, either via centralized online counseling (if notified by PTU) or through the institutional admission process as per PTU guidelines. - Merit-Based Selection
Admissions are granted strictly on the basis of inter-se merit, determined by marks obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2 for B.Pharm / D.Pharm for Lateral Entry), following PTU norms. - Counseling & Seat Allotment
Candidates participate in counseling and seat allotment conducted by PTU or the institute, subject to availability of seats and fulfillment of eligibility conditions. - Document Verification
Shortlisted candidates must present original documents for verification, including mark sheets, certificates, migration/character certificate, and other documents as prescribed by PTU. - Fee Payment & Confirmation of Admission
Admission is confirmed only after payment of prescribed fees and approval of enrollment by PTU. - University Registration
All admitted students must complete registration/enrollment with IKGPTU within the stipulated time to validate their admission.
